and These:

The bread-sticks were awesome, and were not difficult at all. My girls helped me to roll and twist them into bread-sticks. These just might make it into the weekly menu. The pumpkin pies were good - but not amazing, and more work than they were worth.
Today I am made these:

It is the same dough recipe as the bread-sticks - just with some ham and cheese rolled into the middle. The girls helped me with these ones too - putting the ham and cheese on the dough and rolling them up. They turned out really yummy. I'm thinking of a million different ways to make this recipe - like, what if I filled them with a sloppy joe mixture? Or scrambled eggs, ham and cheese? Is it weird that I'm getting excited about this? I love baking this time of year - the cool weather brings it out in me. Plus, something about baking bread makes me feel like a good mom.
