Valentines Inspiration

This week is Valentines Week! Yay! I love Valentines Day. I am having a hard time coming up with something special and fun for Jacob this year. Really, I rarely do anything special and fun for him for Valentines Day, but I'd like to. This is one idea I had, but I already did it. Maybe someone else out there will be inspired by this though. I gave this to Jacob on our wedding night. Its just a little bound book with blank pages that I got at Barnes and Noble or something. In it, I pasted every little love note or card that we had exchanged over our 8 month courtship. 8 months isn't very long, so that only filled up a few pages. The rest of the pages we have slowly been filling up over the past 8 years of marriage. When I'm feeling particularly in love with Jacob, I'll jot down a little love note for him in our book, then I'll place it on his pillow. He generally finds it, writes me back a little something, and I'll find it the next day on my nightstand. Its so fun to go back and read the things we have written to each other over the years. Most notes are just that - notes. Not lengthy wordy letters. Just a few sentences saying sweet things like "thanks for sharing the shower with me this morning", "Thanks for paying our mortgage on time again", and "I love you, I love you, I love you."
