What is wrong with my skin?
I am getting old! In the past year my skin has changed so much. I used to be pale and freckle faced. Now, I have brown spots all over my face. I first noticed it happening about 4 years ago - but the past year it has gotten so much worse. It is on my upper lip, forehead and cheeks. I don't know if miro-dermabrasion, a chemical peal, or anything like that will help at all. I slather my face up with at least 30spf sunscreen every single morning - and have for years. Does anyone out there have any advice for me? Any miracle products I should use? I really like my face and am sad that is is turning colors on me.

Have you switched birth controls? Skin discoloration can happen with that.
But honestly, it just looks like your freckles. Your skin is gorgeous!
so, if it from changing birth controls, will it go back if I go back to my regular birth control - or is it permanent? I have used a couple different kinds of birth control in the past few years - trying to find something I like. I have most recently been on the same one that I was on throughout my late teens and early twenties - so one that my body should be used to. Hmmmm.....I wonder if that is the cause.
They have skin bleaching creams that can help, but they take time. Or.. glycolic acid and some other acids can help to even out skin tone. Again.. just takes time. I'm getting the same thing on my nose and upper lip. IT SUCKS!

I have a few choice words in response to that, but I'm going to refrain. I am NOT old. Even though Jeff said I was, I refuse to think it. We will be old when we start complaining about circulation and when we ask each other which pair of support hose are the best. NOT until then. :)

I'm 26 years old and have never worn sunscreen. I have horrendous premature forehead wrinkles, with acne sprinkled across the top.
Gateway Aesthetic might have something laser related. I browsed through several brochures on that stuff in the waiting room when I got my flab jab a year ago. I'm the place to go for vanity issues. Except that I'm quitting vanity, per my recent blog posts. So I can't help you. Love yourself! Dove commercials!
Seriously, though, will you ever have wrinkles? I'm so depressed.
