The Bush is Tired!

A couple of weeks ago my good friend Brittany and her 3 year old daughter Estelle came over to play. My mother in law is a great seamstress, and is continually making imaginative dresses and costumes for my girls to wear. One of these imaginative costumes is a neon green, multi tiered dress. This dress is supposed to be a bush costume. (Because what little girl doesn't dream of dressing up as a bush?) So Estelle was over here playing with my girls, and she wanted to wear the bush dress (can you blame her?). She was running around and jumping on the bed, exhausting herself. After a few minutes of this, she dramatically flopped herself down onto Violet's bed and declared "THE BUSH IS TIRED!"

Brit and I laughed about it for the next hour or so. I decided that is the perfect excuse for next time Jacob is "in the mood" when I am not. I can certainly relate to tired bush syndrome.
