I'm still alive folks!  Just way busy.  Like I'm sure all the rest of you are.  Christmas is almost here and I am so excited to see the looks on my kids' faces when they finally see what I have been up to.  Its going to be epic!

My brother Clint and his wife Tammy added a second little girl to their family 2 weeks ago!  Her name is Scarlett and we are so excited to have her in our family.  I made her a doll from Hillary Lang's new book.  Its probably the cutest one I've made so far.  I have tried several of Hillary's doll patterns over the years - and I think this pattern is the best.  I'm excited to make a dozen more of them.  (any requests?)

These are some others I've made in the past, using other Hillary Lang patterns.

(I made this one for Clint and Tammy's first little girl, Eva.  I thought she was so cute when I made her - but looking at this picture.....she's definitely a little wonky.  Oh well.
That just adds to the charm, right?)

And just for fun - here is a picture I found of my family Christmas in....probably 1981.  I'm the adorable one on the end.  (The youngest.  The very best position to be in - aren't I lucky!)
