My sister Marie came to town and spent pretty much all of Saturday sewing. My entire house is covered in a fine layer of gold glitter - but I'm not complaining - its totally worth it. I could kick myself for not taking a "before" picture of this dress. It was an ugly $5 dress that I got from the thrift store. I had no motivation or ideas about how to make this ugly dress into a White Queen costume - but Marie totally saved the day.

Correction: I spent all of Saturday waiting in line at JoAnn fabrics. I also made a kick-ass banana pudding too. Where's the blog about that?

Oh - so true. That banana pudding was the Bomb! We finished it off last night and it was still delicious.
