The cutest little Clown

I was a clown for pretty much every Halloween I can remember as a child. Every year, I have high hopes that either Violet or Lucy will follow my lead and dress up as a clown, but they always insist on dressing up as something prettier and fancier, like a princess - usually a Disney princess (gag). This year, I successfully convinced Violet to dress up as a clown. Yay! And she was the cutest dang clown I ever did see. It was pretty last minute. All we did was put on a pair of footed, polka-dot pajamas, a ruffly little collar that I sewed up with some scraps of fabric, and a wig that we had in our dress up box. I'm sure if I had more time I could have added some more details, like maybe white face make-up and a big bow-tie, but she didn't even need it. She looked great, and soaked up the opportunity to pull silly faces all day long.
