Sewing 101
Today I have been teaching Lucy how to sew. She is loving it. I think Lucy has a good sense of style. She loves mixing fabrics and patterns together when she dresses herself, and now she is loving putting together fabrics to sew. So far we've just been making some little pins to put on jackets, sweaters, shirts, etc. This is a picture of her first one:

Awwww, I wish my mom had taught me how to sew...of course she didn't know how... but lucky Lucy and those pins are super cute. I need to learn so I can pass on some sort of awesome domestic skill to Claire. Except of course my outrageous housekeeping abilities.
