Lucy started 1st grade. She is so excited to be back in school. First grade has been just a little bit rough for her. She got lost on the way out of the school on the first day. (I wrongly assumed that the teacher would lead the class outside instead of just dismissing them at the bell and letting them wander). Lucy was scared and cried - and it kind-of broke my heart a little to imagine her lost and scared in a new school. I have been going inside to pick her up at her classroom since - and I will keep doing that for a few more days until she gets the hang of things.
She is so proud of these skinny jeans. She wore them 2 of the 4 days she's gone to school so far. She knows she looks adorable in them.
(I just noticed her shirt is the same color as my new bag. Maybe Yellow is going to be the signature color for the whole Nuttall family)
