I've taken to my closet to find old, ill-fitting clothes in cute fabrics that I can re-purpose for my kids. I found an old dress that I had made for myself - that I never ever wore because it looked hideous. But I loved the fabric, so I never got rid of it. I wish I had a picture of it the way it looked before I made it into a dress for Lucy. It was long - floor length, and had a rousched bust line. I think it is a great little dress for Lucy. She loves it, and now has a few different red/white/blue outfits to choose from for the 4th of July holiday this weekend. Unfortunately, Violet has nothing red/white/blue to wear. I better whip her something up quickly.

Very cute Mush! What pattern did you use? I just made Belen a couple of skirts and a top for some of the parties we are going to. I want to make her a dress so I have all the parties covered and heaven forbid she wont be wearing the same outfit!
Lucy is so cute!
Love it! I envy people w/ sewing talents.
First of all this is such an adorable dress! Great job repurposing.
Secondly, thanks for your comment on presserfoot. I love the fabric too and got it from BeeSquare fabrics online when they were going out of business. I wish I knew the name to tell you, but they may know where else you can find it.
