There's no place like Home

I know what I'm going to be for Halloween. Dorthy. Violet was Dorthy last year - mostly because I wanted an excuse to buy her an adorable pair of red sparkly shoes. Well, this year I found a pair of red sparkly shoes that I just had to have, so I now have to build my Halloween costume around them to justify the purchase. Not that they were expensive - $24 from Target. The picture here really doesn't do them justice. They are shiny and shimmery and just adorable. Now I just need to make myself a white and blue gingham apron and I'm all set. I even already have the dog!

I think you will make an adorable Dorothy. I never put any thought into my Halloween costumes. Maybe I'll start thinking ahead this year.

I never even dress up - but since I wanted these shoes, I have to this year.

How are your feet after today?

Ewwwwwwwwww.... something smells like stinky, burnt soup.

I know that has nothing to do with your post. It's just happening RIGHT now at this VERY moment and I wanted to record it in real time... I was commenting when it happened, so you get to be the record for all eternity. :)

Referring to my feet, and then stinky soup really seems like you are implying something about the smell of my feet. I don't appreciate it. My feet are fine, and they smell great. Thanks for your concern.

I love the red shoes. LOVE THEM. You should get them even if you're not dressing up. Seriously. Get them.

oh, I already own the shoes. I have owned them for 3 days already, and wore them to work on Monday. My feet looked adorable.
