Lucy: Mom. You need to do some dishes! You need to do some laundry! You have got to do some cleaning! I don't even have any clean pajamas!
Me: speechless
To be fair - I do the dishes every day, and just did them last night. She was looking for one her her kid cups, couldn't find any, and assumed it was because they were all dirty. Really it is because she has transported the cups, one by one to her bedroom over the past week.
The laundry - well.....ok, so I'm a little behind. Jacob and I have a deal. He does all of the adult laundry in the house, and I do all the kids laundry. I totally got the short end of the stick in this deal. We have a washer and dryer in the master bedroom closet, so he doesn't have to transport laundry anywhere. He can take it from the dirty clothes basket, wash it, dry it, and hang it up without even having to sidestep. We have another washer/dryer in the the hallway between Lucy and Violet's rooms. Folding all those little shirts and underwear is a pain. Trying to find a place to put them all once they are clean is even harder. This is another reason why I can't have more than two kids. I can't handle the laundry one more person would create. I better stop typing though, and get going on the laundry so Lucy has some nice clean pajamas to wear to bed tonight
Or maybe I could just make her a cute new nightgown instead.

Our laundry method is that Adam does it. Works well for me.
what the hell? how does everyone have their husbands on the laundry train and how do i convince mine to get on? cute story...better not ever have her at my house, she would totally hurt my feelings if she saw how messy things are here...
I agree with Kristin how to I get my husband to touch the laundry. If there's laundry in the dryer and he needs something quickly dried, he will throw all the clothes onto the floor and just leave them. Does he not realize if you take it out you fold it?:)
I meant do, not to..
