Jacob and I were up until 3am last night getting our house ready for the shoot. My awesome and talented friend Brittany came over and helped us. She is an amazing interior designer, and it was fun to watch her do her thing. She spent 8 hours at our house putting her expert touch on it, and it looks amazing. The most dramatic thing we did was, we painted stripes and hung frames on the dining room wall. This has been a long, blank white wall that has daunted for me for 8 months. I think it is very dramatic, and will look great in the magazine.

Kristina - thanks. You don't want to be me though. I am usually irritable and annoyed with everything. Not fun. And, my awesome house is in the hood. We had to move a few grocery carts out of the gutter for the exterior shot. (not really - but there are days when we would have)

I went with Curly hair for the photo shoot. When it came right down to it, I didn't have time to straighten my hair. I was in most of the shots - so we'll see....hopefully I looked awesome. (I mean probably, not hopefully)

My husband works with a lot of photographers and knows the photographer who did the shoot yesterday. Jacob has been talking to the photographer about our project since it was in the planning stages, and he wanted to photograph it. He does a lot of photography for Utah Style and Design, so he told them about our house, they called us and came to see it, and wanted it in the magazine.
Well good thing I got the two year subscription then, LOL! It looks great!
Michelle, I saw the t-shirt link you posted at SSB. HILARIOUS! My SIL sent me a link to a Cafe Press with a t-shirt that says, "Twilight, the Only Thing Better Than Cucpakes."
umm...absolutely incredible. fabulous job with that home. my heart is filling up with rage and jealousy.
